Every wait time on Waity comes from one of these providers. Waity shows who posted each number and when.

Wait times

• U.S. Customs and Border Protection

  Public domain (U.S. Government work)

• Virginia DMV

  Virginia DMV public office status pages (public government information)

Waity reads public pages and feeds no more often than each provider updates them, follows each site's robots.txt and terms, and identifies itself in every request. A provider that asks Waity to stop is removed.

Place directory

• Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Hospital General Information: the list of hospitals with emergency departments that don't post wait times.
• U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder: coordinates for street addresses.
• OpenStreetMap contributors: some coordinates, under the Open Database License (ODbL).

Using Waity data

Show "Data by Waity" and the attribution lines that come with each answer. Some providers require their name next to their numbers; the API marks those with attribution_required.
